Finding the right baby safety gate for your standard sized doorways is not all that difficult with the wide range of styles on the market today. The most important thing is to make sure that any extension you select is made to fit with the exact model you already have. Don't try to match different styles together or you may sacrifice safety. You can find straight panels to expand the width of your gate, or those that make tight turns possible.
